Statement of Certification, Security and Confidentiality
Virtual Health Systems. (VHS) site meets and/or exceeds National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) requirements, guidelines and standards. VHS has adapted other security procedures to attenuate for unauthorized penetration of the site, as such we have established the concept and practice of *Devalued Intrusion.
In addition to the highest level of encryption and password protections, VHS offers six additional security confidential identity protections. Some of the features are:
- Confidential V-Code necessary to access service
- Pseudo name – registration
- Two factor authentication
- Anonymous – service and treatment
- De-Valued intrusion protection
All of the aforementioned features are combined to provide ultra-secure confidentiality and security for users identity and medical information VHS assumes that unauthorized access (i.e., hacking) will occur, however, our security features have rendered access to the information as being of no value (i.e., devalued intrusion).
