These doctors provide drugs and medication to numb your pain or during surgery, childbirth, or other procedures that cause pain or discomfort. They monitor your vital signs while you are under anesthesia. Cardiologists
These doctors are experts of the heart and blood vessels. They provide diagnosis and treatment  for  all things involving your heart and the cardiovascular system.  As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialist to provide diagnosis, treatment and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their home. 

Dermatologists
These doctors are the experts with problems related to your skin, hair and nails. They also treat scars, acne, moles or allergies that effect the skin.  As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialist to provide diagnosis, treatment and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their home. 

Endocrinologists Registered with VHS
These are experts on hormones. diabetes, thyroid, and metabolism. They also treat conditions such as vitamin and bone disorders. As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their homes. 

Emergency Medicine Specialists
These doctors make life or death decisions for sick and injured people, usually in an emergency room. Their job is to save lives and to avoid or lower the chances of disability. As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their homes. 

Family Physicians
These providers care for the whole family, including children, adults, and the elderly. They do routine checkups and screening tests, provide inoculation shots and manage diabetes and other ongoing medical conditions.  As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their homes. 

Gastroenterologists
These doctors are specialists pertaining to the stomach and digestive organs, including the bowels, liver, and gallbladder. They diagnose and treat ulcers, diarrhea, jaundice and cancers.  As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis and/or follow-up treatment remotely to patients in their homes. 

Geriatric Medicine Specialists
These doctors care for the elderly. They can treat people in their homes, doctors’ offices, nursing homes, assisted-living centers, and hospitals. As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their homes. 

Hematologists
These specialists treat diseases of the blood, spleen, and lymph glands. They provide diagnosis and treatment for leukemia, sickle cell, anemia, and hemophilia.  As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their homes. 

Hospice and Palliative Medicine Specialists
These specialists work with people who are nearing death. They are experts in pain management. They work with a team of other doctors to maintain your quality of life.  As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their homes. 

Infectious Disease Specialists
These doctors diagnose and treat infections in any part of your body such as Lyme Disease,  Aids, and Covid-19. Many  of them specialize in preventive medicine.  As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their homes. 

Internists
These specialists are often primary-care doctors that treat both common, complex, and a variety of illnesses.   Internists often have advanced training in a host of subspecialties such as cancer, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal disease, and disorders.  As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their homes. 

Medical Geneticists
These specialists diagnose and treat hereditary genetic disorders passed down from parents to children. They also perform screening examinations and tests.  As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their homes. 

Nephrologists
These doctors and health providers treat kidney disorders and diseases, as well as other problems linked to kidney disease and malfunction.  As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their homes. 

Neurologists
These doctors are specialists in disorders and diseases of the central nervous system. They treat strokes, spinal cord injuries, tumors, seizures, and a variety of other central nervous systems diseases and disorders.  As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their homes. 

Obstetricians and Gynecologists
These doctors are often referred to as OB/GYNs; they focus on female medical problems and health, including pregnancy and childbirth. They perform a variety of related examinations.  As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their homes. 

Oncologists
These doctors are cancer specialists. They provide treatments for a wide range of cancers and they work with radiation, chemotherapy, and surgeons to diagnose and treat cancer.  As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their homes. 

Ophthalmologists
Ophthalmologists are medical doctors who can prescribe glasses or other visual enhancing devices, as well as diagnose and treat a wide variety of eye diseases and conditions and perform the necessary corrective surgery. As determined by the provider VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their home. 

Osteopaths
A Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) is a fully licensed medical doctor who is just like an MD. Their training stresses a “whole body” approach. Osteopaths use the latest medical technology but also the body’s natural ability to heal itself.  As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their homes. 

Otolaryngologists
These specialists treat diseases affecting the respiratory system, ears nose, and sinuses; in some cases, surgeries may also be performed.  As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their homes. 

Pathologists
These lab doctors identify the causes of diseases by examining body tissues and fluids under microscopes.  A major part of their work is postmortem and forensic.  As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their homes. 

Pediatricians
These doctors care for children and young adults. Some specialize in pre-teens or children’s developmental and other mental and neurological problems.  As determined by the provider, VHS technology may allow these specialists to provide diagnosis, treatment, and/or follow-up remotely to patients in their homes. 

Physiatrists

Plastic Surgeons

Podiatrists
These specialists care for problems in your feet and lower extremities. Preventive Medicine Specialists
These doctors focus on keeping you well. They may work in public health facilities, hospitals, government clinics, and other respective facilities. Psychiatrists
These doctors work with people with mental, emotional, or addictive disorders.
